We will send you written confirmation when we receive your deposit payment. Please review this information carefully and let us know immediately if there are any mistakes. Make sure that the names on your reservation are exactly as they appear on the respective passport.
If you are looking for additional participants, it is upon you to ensure their payment alongside any changes or cancellations. Before making bookings, obtain consent from everyone involved and give correct facts; any mistakes made by Zen Explore Nepal in respect thereof shall be entirely yours.
Our official website [insert website URL] has the capability of taking bookings for any nature – hiking tours, sightseeing excursions, trekking expeditions, and other adventure programs that you would like to undertake. A binding contract only comes into existence when an invoice or email confirming your order is sent to you.
When booking, 10% of the total trip cost must be paid as a security deposit; this amount will be determined by our staff for you. The rest of the payment should be settled upon your arrival in Kathmandu before embarking on your hiking holiday. A link and instructions to pay for the deposit will be given through email.
In Nepal, you need to make a final payment before going to Tibet and Bhutan. These bookings are also subject to an additional 4% service fee.
Payments can be made by bank transfers, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), or Western Union money transfers.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Union Pay, and American Express. After providing your details during the reservation process, you’ll be directed towards the payment gateway.

Zen Explore Nepal cannot be held liable for any delays or losses in transit. When you get less than you sent because of the middlemen banks, then top up upon arrival so that the total sum can match the cost of this journey. Just email us your bank reference number or remittance slip to confirm.
Final payment can be made either in cash or credit card payment together with a 4% charge from banks before commencing your trip while still in Nepal. Therefore, it is advisable to pay by cash (US dollars or any convertible currency) rather than a credit card and avoid paying an additional fee of 4% for bank processing.
Final payments are due while in Nepal just before starting the journey with options being either by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) plus an extra 4%.
Note: For last-minute reservations for Nepal trips, a person can book until one day before the tour starts whereas those willing to visit Bhutan and Tibet have a maximum of ten days depending on availability. Full payment is necessary to guarantee these bookings.
It is necessary to give written notice when canceling a tour. Cancellation fees are based on the date of your request receipt:
Should you choose to end a tour after it starts, no money will be given for unused meals or services rendered.
In case you decide to change your trip within five years from the day of booking, there is a rebooking fee of $50 per person and other associated charges. The original deposit remains valid for five years.
Zen Explore Nepal may cancel any confirmed departure trip due to uncontrollable factors like bad weather conditions, natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, and epidemics among others.
However, in such cases, we will refund you the amount minus 10% for Nepal tours and 50% for Bhutan and Tibet tours as preparation costs. If unexpected circumstances cause the termination of an ongoing tour, already incurred expenses including transportation; accommodations; meals, etc., will be refunded.
All travelers must have a valid passport which should have a minimum validity period of six months beyond the date of return. For holders of foreign passports visas can be obtained from Nepalese embassies/consultancies in your country or upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport.
Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any problems during your holiday with either the tour operator, leader, or guide so that they can be addressed or referred to the appropriate authorities.
Zen Explore Nepal and its associates try their best to ensure safe trips but cannot accept liability for risks beyond their control; government restrictions, natural disasters, political unrest, flight delays and cancellations health conditions, or accidents. Participants assume all risks inherent in adventure activities without making Zen Explore Nepal responsible in case of any damages including injuries or death
As you travel, pictures could be taken by our staff, guides, or photographers. Such photographs can however be used for promotional purposes on our websites and social media platforms. Inform us nicely if you wouldn’t want us to use your photo on these materials.
