Day one of this itinerary begins after you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

This trek begins with a day-long drive to Macche Khola from Kathmandu, with nearly 10 hours of drive from the private vehicle. Macche Khola is the starting point of this 14-day-long journey and a getaway to the Manaslu Region.
This drive of 8 to 10 hours goes through the rough and bumpy roads while having the magnificent landscapes of mid hilly region of Nepal. It offers you a great scenic drive over the hills. It is also a very refreshing journey before your trekking walks over the Himalayan ridges.
After the distance of 145 km from Kathmandu, you will get there at Macche Khola. Until there you already have come through the great landscape journey and zigzag roads over there.
With the arrival in Macche Khola, it is about the preparation for the next day as the actual trekking would begin from the third fa of this itinerary.
The overnight stay will be managed at Macche Khola for you.
With the morning breakfast and the rest in Macche Khola, the journey starts with the uphill climb from the Macche Khola.
While crossing the Macche River through the suspension bridge, there are vertical uphill routes on stone stairs and natural steps and continue until you arrive at the Khola Bensi. After following the trail, you will arrive at the Tatopani, where you get to see the natural hot spring behind the hill.
From there the challenging part of this trek begins after the arrival of Doban. It follows the descending trail to the Budhi Gandaki River, which continues to the trail following the trail through Lauri, and with the uphill climb of the vertical ascend, you will soon see the rice field and the big farming terrace of Jagat.
Jagat is a very beautiful village that lies inside the geography of the Manaslu Region and people there settle and survive on that small farming terrace. Considering the major point in the trekking trails in the Manaslu region, the village of Jagat is filled with several teahouses and homestays for visitors and travelers which now become the major income source for the people living in the village of Jagat. You will get to have a very refreshing moment with the odor of fresh Himalayan air and tasty local foods and soups. There with the local foods. There you also witness people there living with their traditional ways and values wearing their local attire all day long.
Your overnight stay will be at the village of Jagat.
Similar to other days, after your breakfast at Jagat, our journey will take steps towards Deng. This journey is filled with a scenic walk through the remote path alongside the riverbank, and the further trail then follows you to the uphill climb above Deng.
When you reach the Budhi Gandaki River and go through it through a suspension bridge, you will arrive at the Filim, a traditional Gurung settlement side of the lap of the hills. Until there you will go through several monasteries, Mane walls, stupas, prayer flags, and ancient shrines of Buddhist people. You will get a short break and small snacks and the journey continues.
After the Filim, you will find the trail covered with lush greenery, Rhododendron, an alpine forest, and various flora and fauna. It continues until you arrive at the village called Deng. There you will be welcomed by the villagers with their great cultural hospitality to visitors.
Deng is a small Himalayan settled village, that lies inside the narrow landscape between massive Himalayan hills. This village offers you a scenic view of the great Himalayan range and the massive landscapes of hills around it.
Your overnight will be at Deng in the teahouse.
With the morning meal at the village of Deng. The journey begins with the walk towards another point of this trek called Namrung. This amazing journey goes through the diverse landscapes and the various beautiful small settlements of ethnic communities through the journey.
From here, the trail starts to get harder with quick changing of ascending and descending paths. But you will also see and experience the log bridges, and the water mills in different streams. It is a local technology used by the local people of Nepal from the very old times.
With the descending downhill path of Bihi Phedi until crossing the Serang Khola. You will find the trails filled with wheat fields, several waterfalls, corn and maze fields, and other different wildlife.
When you reach the place called Ghap, the journey starts to go through the lush greenery, oak trees, pine forests, and flowering trees of rhododendron. By switching the riverbank after crossing the river through the suspension bridge, your northern side of the river will head you to the Namrung.
Namrung is a small village which is the gateway of Upper Nupri. The village consists of traditional living styles and the unique culture of ethnic communities living there. Until here you are already at one of the remote places in Nepal. You will witness a very similar culture to the Tibetan people. You also find the village filled with various Mani walls and lots of prayer flags within and across the village.
Your overnight stay will be at the village of Namrung.
After the morning lunch at the beautiful village of Namrung, your journey starts with the trail following more uphill ascends which heads towards the village of Syara. This journey offers you the majestic beauty of the Himalayan region as well as the rough terrains and the difficult structure of hills.
Bypassing some ridges, you will get to see the glacier of Pungen Glaciers. It arrives with the breathtaking and astonishing scenery of the snow-capped mountain range which also includes Mt. Manaslu. With such beautiful and refreshing scenery, the journey will continue towards the Syara.
Before the arrival of Syara, you also pass through the village called Lho which is another beautiful small valley that resides inside the high hills and the high mountains. It is also a very important place in Manaslu. There you will see the very historic and religious Ghompas, where more than 160 students are having their education on the basis of Buddhist philosophy.
After your arrival in Syara, your overnight stay will be managed there.
In the morning at Syara, you will get your breakfast and will get to visit the Pungyen monastery. It is a very holy and spiritual place for the Buddhist people.
This journey will be very spiritual for the trekkers on this day.
You will walk through the forest and the great beautiful landscapes with the massive views of Ganesh Himal and Himal Chuli. After the downhill descent, the beautiful valley will arrive crossing the rivers.
After that, you will reach the PunhgyenGompa. With more further walk through the trial of an hour the very beautiful landscapes of the village called Samagaun will arrive.
Your overnight stay will be managed at the Samagaun.
This day is all dedicated to the break and acclimatizing for higher altitudes which you will encounter in the further trek. And there is a day hike to the Manaslu Base Camp.
During this acclimatization day, you can explore the Samagaun more which is diversely rich in tradition and culture.
After the morning breakfast, we will conduct the day hike up to the nearer Base Camp of Manaslu. It takes you 5 to 6 hours of trek from again to reach Manaslu Base Camp. You will also see the Birendra Lake on your journey with the crystal clear water.
This journey will be a little harder as you will go further into the rough and actual geography of Stony Mountain. But you will be stunned by the beauty of Manaslu Base Camp. And it takes less time to return from the Base Camp to the Samagaun.
After returning from the day hike, you can enjoy the living culture of Samagaun, with various local foods, and the witnessing of their culture of living and rituals from very close.
With the tiring day hike and the acclimatizing day, your overnight stay will be at Samagaun.
The trek goes further in the morning in Samagaun. Here you are on the eighth day of your itinerary. From here, more higher altitude stats to get as you move further. The route descends down to the Budhi Gandaki River.
The journey until the Samdo consists of juniper trees, cliffs, pines, ridges, higher steeps, and the astonishing beauty of the snow-capped peaks. The mountain peaks like Mount Manaslu and a very scenic Siachen glacier.
After more hours of trek, you will arrive at the small village of Samdo, where you will see the settlement of ethnic people doing their daily busy lifestyle. This village of Samdo consists of Buddhist culture which is very similar to Tibetan. This place is once used as a trading hub of the region back in the centuries.
Your overnight stay will be at Samdo where you can have different local cuisine.
With the refreshing morning and the breakfast in Samdo, you will continue your journey which passes through the beautiful Himalayan terrain. The route goes along after crossing the Budhi Gandaki River, after which afterward you will reach Dharamsala.
This tail further leads you to another point of this Manaslu circuit Trek of Larkya Bazaar. It is a small market settled at the Himalayan hill. And with further walks, you get to the Pana Danda Valley. After that, you will get to the Syacha Valley which offers you the majestic view of clear and freshwater rivers and the very beautiful Syacha glacier with diverse breathtaking views of the mountain peaks.
With the arrival of Larkya glacier, you will get to see the Dharamsala, with another breathtaking view mountain range.
The overnight stays will be managed at the homestay of Dharamsala.
This journey is the toughest day of the trek in the itinerary of Manaslu Circuit Trek. It covers and goes through various diverse ascending and descending landscapes which touch an altitude of 5106m of elevation from the sea level at the high pass of Larkya La Pass. It is also the highest point and the highest altitude which you go through this trekking journey.
It is also going to be your most challenging day and part of this whole itinerary. The ascending steps of this trail pass through the frozen lakes, vertical steeps, difficult structures of paths, and over the great landscape of Himalayan hills.
This journey also offers a spectacular view of Pawar Peak and Larkya Peak. Having trekked over this astonishing trail through different natural beauty and with the tough and rough geography of the Himalayas, you will soon arrive at the high pass of Larkya La Pass.
Larkya La Pass is among the highest passes in Nepal and also the most beautiful one. The stunning view of snow-capped mountain peaks including the beautiful peaks of Himlung, Cheo, Kang, Manslu, KajiKubg, and other following fellow peaks. It also goes through the Larkya La Pass crossing the Budhi Gandaki River. You also witness the great view of Annapurna II.
This challenging day also covers the other aspects and the features of Manaslu Circuit Trek. It passes by the ruler villages, clear glacier lakes, lush greenery, several traditional villages, and the beautiful landscape of the Manaslu region. With such a challenging and beautiful trekking experience, this day can be considered the most diverse trekking day of this trekking itinerary.
Having some appreciating and enjoying time for the beauty and the sceneries of Larkya La pass, we will head back to descend the hill, which takes you through DingbocheKharka. And with further walks of some hours from there you will arrive at the Bimthang.
At Bhimtang, you will see as it is also a small beautiful Himalayan settlement. But also the trading point for the places like Samdo, Samagaun, and other neighboring villages and settlements throughout the region. There the people from the village of Samdo flee while the winter is in season to escape extreme cold.
After such tiring and a long trekking day, your overnight will stay at Bhimtang
This day of trekking itinerary consists of a gradual downfall in altitude. It covers most of the journey passing out of the dense high-altitude forest and the diverse landscapes. The trail also passes through the glacier and the higher cliffs. It mostly covers the majestic scenery of Larke, Chuli Himal, Nadi, and Manslu. After some descend through the vertical routes of Karcher, Sangria Kharka, and Hompuk. After you arrive at the Gho, pass through the fields. You get to arrive at the village of Tilje.
Upto there you also get to go through the Marsyangdi Valley, Dhudh Khola, and a very beautiful traditional village of Thonje village. It also covers the Dharapani which is the midpoint for the trekking trail of Manaslu Circuit Trek and the Annapurna Trekking region.
Your overnight stay will be at Tilje.
This is going to be the last trekking day of your journey. With the breakfast at the Tilje village. We will move towards the Besinsahar. It will take you about 5 hours to drive from Tilje. After arrival in Bensisahar, your drive to Kathmandu will be managed in a private vehicle.
With this drive your trekking journey or the actual walking trek comes to an end. You will be taken to the city of Kathmandu which takes about 10 hours of drive from there. After you arrive at the city of Kathmandu you can explore some parts of the Kathmandu.
You will get your overnight stay managed at the standard hotel in Kathmandu where you can have your rest and the meal.
